Hope Springs Eternal for BC

Grant Adams will play a big role in BC's offense

It was a rainy, dreary Saturday afternoon in April, but the Boston College fans still came out to support their Eagles in the annual Jay McGillis Spring Game. The contest was particularly interesting to fans as they had the opportunity to see some of BC's young talent, many players seeing action for the first time.

Due to the injury to junior quarterback Quinton Porter, redshirt freshmen Karim El Nokali and Dan Berglund commandeered the squads. Neither was terribly impressive, but they did show some flashes of ability. El Nokali, playing with the first team offense, had a better day than Berglund as he completed 13 of 30 passes including a 51-yarder to senior Derek Webley. El Nokali also displayed decent...
