Cheshire (Conn.) Academy receiver/defensive back Malik Golden made his last unofficial visit, and now he is ready to make his announcement. He told Scout.com about the schools involved, and when a decision is coming.

Cheshire (Conn.) Academy standout Malik Golden made an unofficial Friday visit to Penn State, liked what he saw, and is ready to decide among four schools.

Golden is considering Penn State, Iowa, Connecticut and Boston College, and will unveil his decision in the next few days.

"By Wednesday, everyone will know," the 6-foot-1, 185-pound receiver/defensive back texted Scout.com.

Particulars on whether an announcement ceremony will take place are pending.

The final step of his recruitment came with Friday's visit to Happy Valley, and he texted Scout.com a basic thought on the trip.

"It went very well," he said. "I had a great time."

Iowa, Boston College and Connecticut is recruiting Golden to play receiver. Penn State wants him as a defensive back.
