The big matchup this week in Illinois high school football is De La Salle hosting Mt. Carmel. For more on that game, follow National Recruiting Analyst Allen Trieu (@AllenTrieu)
Out in the Chicago suburbs, Glenbard North will travel to West Chicago to see if they can keep the ball rolling following a 31-16 win over Carmel last weekend.
Glenbard North features one player in particular who shines on both sides of the ball:
Player Spotlight:

Jackson is one shifty back. He plays both running back and defensive back in high school, but either way, when he gets the ball in his hands, he's a threat to take it the distance no matter what. He cuts on a dime and can fly in the open field. He already holds offers from
Boston College, Illinois,
Northwestern, and
Purdue. A big season could even catapult him to more.
Prediction:
Glenbard teams are historically well-coached, and after a meaningful win against Carmel last week, I see Jackson going for 200 on the ground and 2-3 touchdowns. He's electric with the ball, and West Chicago isn't the most stalwart defense out there.
