Bill O'Brien already had three recruits in the bag as darkness set over University Park Sunday night. With linebackers Zayd Issah and Jonathan Walton already issuing verbal commitments earlier Sunday, as well as Valley Forge Prep defensive back Anthony Smith, it didn't seem likely the Nittany Lions would add to their Class of 2013 again Sunday. But it's becoming ever more likely to expect the unexpected.
The Free Lance-Star in Fredericksburg, Virginia reported late Sunday evening that Mountain View High (Stafford, Va.) wide-receiver DaeSean Hamilton has verbally committed to Penn State, according to his mother, after spending the weekend in State College on an official visit.
A source close to the situation confirmed the commitment to FOS.
Hamilton was a late addition on the Nittany Lions' official visitor list this weekend, having long been pursued by Wake Forest and Virginia Tech among others on a 17-offer list. But he made the trip to Happy Valley and ended up committing to PSU.
