Bere Lands Hometown Offer

Tinashe Bere is one of the hardest hitting linebackers in the 2014 crop in Ohio, and he has put together an impressive offer list. Monday he landed an offer he was hoping for.

Cincinnati Sycamore linebacker Tinashe Bere has been a tackling machine from the moment he entered the lineup as a freshman, and he is a 2014 prospect of note in Ohio.

Bere, 6-foot-1, 215-pounds, has the ability to come forward and strike people, and college recruiters have noticed. He now holds seven offers, with the latest one making an impact on the player.

"I was offered by Cincinnati," Bere stated. "I have to say I've been waiting a while for this offer, and it means a lot to me because they're so close to home. It's a school I can see myself playing for, even though I probably won't be making my choice until after my season."

Including Cincinnati, Bere also holds offers from Bowling Green, Illinois, Iowa, Kent State, Miami of Ohio and Purdue. Recommended Stories
