Eastern Christian Academy (Elkton, Md.) cornerback Brandon Watson took in a pair of games in the fall and is talking to several schools, he provided an update on his recruitment.

Eastern Christian Academy (Elkton, Md.) cornerback Brandon Watson is ready for summer, and can't wait to start the 7-on- 7 season.

The junior already has offers from Connecticut, Boston College, Temple and Rutgers, and has also been talking to Maryland and Syracuse a significant amount.

He attended several games this past season, including Rutgers' season finale against Louisville.

"I liked the Rutgers-Louisville game that I went to because I have never been to a college night game, and that was really exciting," Watson said. "Syracuse vs USC was also awesome because the ‘SC commits (Kenny Bigelow, Khaliel Rodgers and David Sills) from our team were messing with Isaiah Johnson, who is a Syracuse commit, the whole game. It was fun."

Watson, who is 6-foot, 180 pounds, has seen the Rutgers campus from being there for 7 on 7s, and he says that although he really likes it, he doesn't have much to compare it to because he hasn't seen too much of any other campuses. His favorite part of Rutgers?

"I really like their weight room and their locker room, and I'm really close to (assistant) coach (Damian) Wroblewski."

Watson claims he doesn't know where he wants to take his officials yet, but also points out that it doesn't matter if he is close to home or not.
