Windsor (Conn.) defensive tackle Damik Scafe
(6-3, 290, 4.9) saw no reason to wait any longer, so this morning he pulled the trigger and committed to Boston College
"I committed to Boston College today at 11:30," Scafe said.
Scafe had offers from Boston College and Michigan State, he was very interested in Wisconsin but an offer never came from the Badgers.
"I liked Boston College and Wisconsin," Scafe said. "Wisconsin never offered, Boston College did so I decided to stay close to home. They're the hometown team and they have a great football program."
Scafe joins Alex Albright, Thomas Claiborne, and Josh Neubert as the new defensive front for the Eagles Class of 2006.
In 2004, Scafe earned first team All-League and All-Conference honors after registering 79 tackles, 12 tackles for loss, and eight sacks.
