| Rugged, do-everything player with excellent athletic ability and strong scoring ability who brings an element of aggressiveness and hard-nosed play to the Tech program ... Played on the wing most of the time in high school, but uses his physical toughness to play inside and give Tech strong defense and rebounding.
Missed 17 games during his freshman year after dislocating his right kneecap in Tech's third game of the season ... Injury, similar to one suffered by teammate Theodis Tarver a year earlier, occurred with less than two minutes left in the game as he attempted to take charge, and at almost the same spot on the floor as Tarver's.
Fully recovered by the start of last season, became one of the ACC's top rebounders and toughest defenders. |
